Absolutely Magic Dog Training

Offering obedience and agility classes at Be Bop Farms in Gresham, Oregon

Training facility is in Gresham, Oregon just off Hwy. 26. Indoor, dirt flooring for comfort and safety for the dogs and handlers.  The equipment is regulation height and size made by a well respected and known manufacturer.

         Beginning Obedience:  7:00pm 5 week session, one hour each week.
             This class will be moving to BeBop next Monday. Cost is $100.00 Barbara 503-256-1779                    

         Beginning Agility:  7:00pm - 8 week session, one hour each week.
                Cost is $110.00.  Amanda Gross 503-253-4207

Beginning Agility Classes will be starting on the following dates on Tuesdays:
7:30-8:30 May 6, 2008
6:30-7:30 June 3 , 2008
7:30-8:30 July 1, 2008

       Drop in Agility Practice:  This is a supervised, non-coached open practice from 7 - 9 pm
           every Wednesday evening.  Anyone with a dog who is ready to enter a trial is welcome
           to attend.  Cost is $5.00 per person, two dog maximum, however the handler can pay
           additional to run additional dogs if they would like.  Amanda Gross 503-233-4207

       Intermediate Obedience:  4 week session 8:00pm every Thursday. Cost is $60.00. 

       Competition Obedience:  Every Thursday at 7:00pm.  Drop in sessions.  Cost is $12.00
             per class.  This class is for anyone whose dog knows how to do all of the basic
             obedience behaviors and are looking to get the skills necessary to compete in
             obedience trials.

       Intermediate Agility:   7:00pm on Friday's and is for dogs
             who know how to negotiate all agility equipment and drive confidently from one 
             obstacle to the next.  This class focuses on teaching handling skills to the owner,
            problem solving, and cleaning up obstacle performance.  This class is held at Triple C
            stables at 12577 SE Callister.

       Competition Agility:  This is a drop in class held every Friday at 8:00pm.  This class is
             for dogs and handlers who are completely familiar with all of the agility equipment,
             move confidently from one obstacle to the next, handler mostly knows how to handle
             the dog.  This is a coached session and we will help handlers problem solve, clean
             up obstacle performance, help the handler learn how to read and walk a course and
             provide tips and information on possible alternate ways to handle their dogs in
             various situations.  Cost for this class is $7.00 per class. This class is held at Triple C
            stables at 12577 SE Callister.

Amanda Gross  503-253-4207 She has trained, trialed and titled, Pomerianians, Chihuahua, Lab mix, Smooth Collie, and Border Collie.  "Tapfer's I Hope You Dance" RA,AX,AXJ,NF,EAC,EJC,ECC,O-TN-E,TG-E,WV-E  Hope has now earned 100 qualifying scores in agility! With her placement and title completed ribbons she has 182!

If traveling from south of Gresham:
  1. Take I-5 to 205 north.
  2. Take Clackamas/Hwy 212 exit
  3. Go thru Clackamas, Damascus then Boring
  4. At the first signal in Boring stay left
  5. At the second signal in Boring turn left (282nd)
  6. This takes your over the top of Hwy 26
  7. At the first blinking yellow light (Stone Rd.) turn left
  8. At Hwy 26 turn right (West bound)
  9. The next blinking yellow light (267th) Turn right
  10. Take your first left which is Callister.
  11. We are the first farm on the right. Follow chain link fence to barn entrance.
If you are traveling from north of Gresham:
  1. Take 205 south
  2. Take I84 east
  3. Take the Troutdale exit number 17
  4. Go past the truck stops, restaruants, etc..
  5. Turn right at the signal (Graham Rd turns into 257th)
  6. Go past Outlet malls
  7. Follow 257th about 4 miles to Signal(Orient Drive)
  8. Go Straight onto Orient Drive; At the first signal (Barnes Rd/262nd Rd) turn right.
  9. Go 8/10 of a mile we are on the left. There will be signs "Be Bop USA"
